We offer a day Dream Group on the third Monday of each month from 9:30am-Noon. We discuss participant’s dreams for wisdom and guidance, and we learn to interpret the symbolic language of the unconscious. Dream work is also an integral part of other groups and classes. This is a rich and fulfilling time, holding space with a group of committed beings who are willing to be vulnerable in order to share, learn and teach out of their life experiences. The symbolism of our everyday, ordinary lives is brought to more consciousness so that we may perceive the incredible extra-ordinariness of this temporal experience. Through the reflection of that symbolism, we learn more about our basic patterning. This, in turn, allows us the opportunity to connect with more of our own forces, rather than project them out onto others, whether they are positive or negative. Kent and Barbara have been graced with different approaches and perspectives to the Sacred Mysteries. Barbara is skilled in dreamwork, hands-on energy work, oracle interpretation, resource networking, Enneagram typing and spiritual guidance. Kent is skilled in didactic work, dreamwork, easing physical and emotional trauma symptoms through guided self-healing, and integrating traditional medicine with psychospiritual healing. Guided Self HealingKent is now offering sessions in Guided Self Healing. This is a holistic healing process that combines the knowledge of Applied Kinesiology with the insights of the field of Energy Psychology along with the spiritual practices of a number of self-discovery systems and with the understandings that come from the ancient healing arts of Dreamwork and Creative Imagination. Also integrated into this healing paradigm are techniques from Thought Field Therapy, Trauma Work, Brain Gym, 3 in One, Transpersonal Energetic Therapy, Depth Psychology, Buddhist Teachings, Jungian Archetypal approaches and mystical practices. These have been adapted from the work of many Teachers including Brugh Joy, M.D., Helen Palmer, Tapas, Gallo, Callahan and others.In this process, you may learn how to access your deepest wisdom for healing body, mind, heart and soul. It may have a healing impact on physical illness, emotional disorders and limiting beliefs. It may look at or act on symptoms from the physical level, the symbolic level, the metaphysical level or the spiritual level of being. Kent has trained and been certified by Andrew H. Hahn, PsyD. who developed this particular system over the past 6 years. Sessions last for an hour to two hours depending on the familiarity of the client with Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing). There are no limitations or complications associated with the method which uses the muscle testing to access the deepest level of inner knowing and to determine what energy intervention is required to unblock the flow of energy and relieve the symptom. It may involve an acceptance practice, a dissolving of a limiting belief, repair of a boundary or opening of a blocked emotional response. We find the root cause of any trauma and find a way to release the blocked energy flow that has resulted. Guided Self Healing (GSH) is a five-step framework of healing that integrates Energy Psychology/Medicine with Spiritual and Depth Psychology and Narrative systems therapy. GSH helps us access our own deepest wisdom to transform limiting beliefs, regain access to our emotions, and develop healthy boundaries and relationships. GSH emphasizes core understanding rather than more mechanistic interventions, exploring universal archetypes that are out of our awareness and often governing our action in self-defeating ways.
Guided Self Healing focuses on causes as well as symptoms. It helps us identify and prioritize obstacles in our lives; find and dissolve traumas and energetic blocks at their root cause; discover and learn the lessons embedded in our life stores to resolve physical emotional, mental, relational and spiritual difficulties.

The Diamond Approach is a spiritual method that uses open-ended inquiry into personal experience which leads to precise, objective understanding. This understanding -- which is motivated by love for truth and hunger for our true selves -- allows our souls to unfold and to embody states of being like love, strength, will, pleasure, peace, contentment, passion, compassion and joy.
We have been fortunate to work with Deane Shank, a teacher in the Diamond Approach from Boulder, CO. who has been willing to travel to Phoenix and Prescott to hold weekend workshops. Deane is a senior teacher of the Ridhwan Foundation and has been a student of A. H. Almaas for 20 years. We find the work and Deane exceptional.
We work with the aspect of our true nature that has the qualities of aliveness, vitality, courage, strength, expansion and a sense of capacity - basic qualities needed in our personal spiritual growth. By inquiring into your barriers against experiencing each of these qualities, and through specific meditations, the Diamond Heart workshops help to bring them into your life.
Diamond Approach
The Diamond Approach Seminars are held in Phoenix approximately every 6-8 weeks between October and May, plus two residential retreats between June and September in Pinewood, AZ and Prescott, AZ. The weekend seminars will begin on Friday evening. For new students, Deane will teach the basic course on the Friday of each work weekend from 10am-5pm. Individual sessions with Deane are available. Our culture has emphasized the "macho" male who remains aggressive, competitive, and sometimes hostile and silent. This group begins to redeem other important qualities of the whole man that include open discussion, cooperation, and sharing at the level of feeling and emotion. We meet every other Wednesday from 7:15pm to 9:15pm.
In our work with Brugh Joy, M.D. we have learned the benefits of "healing energies" work. We have trained with him to guide others in the process of this approach to soul work. It must be emphasized that this refers to a healing or balancing at the soul level and is not intended to cure an otherwise incurable physical disease. However, we often see symptomatic relief in the recipient. The healing circle can be arranged for the ceremonial application of healing energies by a group of family and friends to those in need of inner healing. We have arranged and conducted these both at home and at the bedside in the hospital setting. There is no charge, but we suggest that those participating provide food to one of the shelters in town. We offer an introductory class for meditative practice by arrangement for a minimum of five students. Meditation may be included as part of most of the scheduled class offerings. The introduction includes a heart centering meditation as taught by Brugh Joy, M.D. and a concentration meditation to focus on the Hara and a mindfulness meditation.

Carolyn Conger, PhD, is a consultant and teacher who conducts seminars internationally in psychological growth, healing, dreamwork, intuition, creativity, and spirituality. She has lived with tribal societies throughout the world, studying their healing and metaphysical arts. From her research in psychoimmunology and human energy fields, she also teaches mind/body techniques for optimum health. Her doctorate is in clinical psychology.
